HOW CAN I BE SAVED?
Part 1- Bible lesson on Salvation
Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him, and you will not perish (John 3:16).
The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans said, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9).
What are you confessing to?
The answer:
You must believe that Jesus is the son of God and died for our sins, and was raised on the third day for our justification.
Jesus has also restored our relationship with God by making us become a child of promise and no longer a child of wrath. Jesus never died for the righteous but came to heal the sick from the consequences of our sins.
So what do you need to do to be saved?
The answer:
You must believe that Jesus is the son of God and died for our sins, and was raised on the third day for our justification.
God has already done all of the work. All you must do is believe and receive, in faith, the salvation God offers Ephesians 2:8-9.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).
God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it. Jesus is the way of salvation (John 14:6).
For by grace, you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. |(Ephesians 2:8-9)
You cannot do anything to add to your salvation as Jesus has finished that work. Salvation is the Gift Of God PERIOD!!! You can't add to it or take away from it! As Jesus said on the cross as He died for us IT IS FINISHED!
Again The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans said, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9).
Next time we will look at being Born Again!
