How Can We Practically Wrap Ourselves in Love?
What does the bible say in Colossians 3:12–14
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
These verses from the Bible serve as a reminder of the need to continually show love to one another. Love is a strong force that can draw us closer to God, therefore we should surround ourselves with it. Love is a strong unifying force that can aid in our growth as followers of Christ. One way we can shine a bright light in this world is by acting with love.
Love is not meant to be selfish or demanding, but instead, it is meant to be an outpouring of compassion, understanding, and grace. When we clothe ourselves with love, we become vessels of God's love that can bring joy, peace, and healing to those around us.
I encourage you to cover yourself with love. Let your love for others serve as a testimony to the world of God's enduring love. Let it serve as a reminder of the incredible ability of love to overcome all barriers and bring about healing in any circumstance. I wish for you to always be covered with love!
May Colossians 3:12–14 serve as an example for us all as we work to cover ourselves in love every day. God bless us as we work to improve the lives of others around us and ourselves by bringing them joy, serenity, and healing.
