Road to Salvation

What the bible says about the road to salvation?

Why do we need to get saved?

The Book of scriptures says there are two roads in life: one is the way to eternal joy in Heaven, and the other leads to eternal punishment in Hell.

Which road would you say you are on?

1. We are all sinners and everyone needs salvation.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

2. Payment for our transgressions.

"For the wages of sin is death,..." Romans 6:23

3. Jesus went to cross to pay for our sins.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,

Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

4. God gave us His gift of salvation.

"but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.. Romans 6:23b

5. We are saved by grace and not of works.

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise

grace is no longer grace. Romans 11:6

6. Salvation comes through faith.

To him that … believeth on Him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:5

8. Salvation is given to everyone, confess your sins to Him.

"If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that

God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
